checking it out now, and yeah this is good

 

I have no prior history with Daughters. Decided to give this a listen and wow I was not ready. That intro to City Song when the full band kicks in was filthy. Absolutely disgusting and shook me to my core.

Just wearing headphones while ringing people out. I just need to see what they’re buying, don’t really care what they’re saying.

 

This album is phenomenal, wow

 

The drums on Guest House are so bombastic my gosh.

 

I’m definitely at the point where I’m referring to this album as a masterpiece

 

i have never listened to daughters before this release but the album art kept catching my eye, and when spotify royally fucked up the cult leader release on friday, i decided to try this out. i cant stop and it takes me to a very unique and dark place unlike any other album that i have heard in a long time.

Once I digest this album a little more I'm gonna check out their Self Titled. I heard The Virgin and it's just as amazing

 

I personally love all of their shit. Canada Songs was fucking insane to me as a teenager. I'm pretty comfortable saying this is their best work though

 

Self titled is fantastic

 

Hell Songs is my other favorite
