To me it sounds nothing like Kendrick, but i dig it.

I've listened to the Koi Child album a few times and i like it when its on, but a lot of the time, I forget I'm listening to it at all. There's a lot going on. Maybe too much idk

 

what would have been a better artist to recommend other than Kendrick?

 

Not sure as its a pretty unique sound imo
