    The pod racing was awesome.

I loved Canto. Outside them getting arrested for parking illegally on a beach haha.

I used to kind of hate the parking ticket thing and personally would have done something different, but I actually think it subtly heightens Poe's arc. It highlights what a bad leader he was that he sent two janitors to run a covert mission.

I am definitely admittedly guilty of way over dramatizing how much I didn't enjoy Canto Bight. It's still my least favorite part of the movie, but with each viewing (there have been many), it gets less and less annoying to sit through lol

  5. Podracing game was so good

  6. Co-signing that pod racing game. Still own it on Dreamcast.

I don't hate the casino scenes, I just don't think they're that interesting.

I loved the planet design. JJ’s planets were so damn boring to look at. Canto was great without being too prequelish.

Rank of the planets I’d like to see in episode 9. Don’t need any of them but I’d be happy if any of them are.

    1. Coruscant (by far. Not even in 9 just in general)
    2. Mustafar (Vader’s Castle)
    3. Kashyyyk

My theory for why the Canto Bight scenes get an undue amount of negative focus and hate is because THE REST OF THE MOVIE IS JUST SO DAMN AMAZING.

They are not anywhere near as bad as some of the bad scenes from other SW films like the droid factory in ROTS or anything like that.

It would be cool to maybe see Kylo travel to mustafar, but unless it was crucial to his story/arc it would at this point seem kind of unnecessary.

True but considering his affinity/obsession with Vader being at Vader’s castle would make sense.

eh, I disagree. not that the movie is amazing, and i dont mean to keep harping on Canto Bight, but my issue with it originally (and still partially), is that it just felt WAY too prequel-y. it walked a line of the kind of cornyness youd find in Ep1 or Ep2, like the drunk alien trying to put coins in BB8, and the CGI/animation just did not feel like it fit with the rest of the movie. It just felt way too much like something from the prequels.

TLJ was January so, hoping for that.

Feels a little too soon into filming for there to be a Black Friday drop but that WOULD be sweet.

yeah I am assuming this will follow the same rollout as TLJ, title reveal january, trailer/poster SWC19 with the trailer in theaters ahead of Avengers 4 in May

Canto stuff is no worse than the weird rathtars thing in TFA. also canto is not that bad imo

I disagree. That scene has the introduction of Han Solo and Chewie which by itself is WAY more interesting than anything happening on Canto.

Rathtars were a much shorter scene too.

I swear I'm the only one who doesn't hate the Rathtar scene. It's a quick, fun little scene that gets the characters back on the move. It's really not all that different from the bit in ANH with the trash compactor monster. Neither is super necessary to the story, but it's just a bit of fun.

I think Canto would bother me less if they didn’t have Del Toro use that weird accent/stutter and that bit with BB-8 shooting the coins wasn’t included.
