The Story So Far – “Take Me As You Please” Video

Interesting to see this band behaving like an actual band on this cycle. Releasing cool videos, frontman doing interviews - nice change of pace for them. Seems like they care again.

 

Saw them Friday and Parker seemed happier on stage than I’ve ever seen him.

 

Not sure what the hype is surrounding this album. It’s the same as anything they’ve ever put out except they threw an annoying effect on Parker’s vocals.

It's funny that the band putting in a bare minimum of effort seems so revolutionary because they were just so antagonistic over most of their career thus far, like they were above things like music videos.

That being said, this is a nice video. Song is a little silly/corny, and lyrics still don't have a complete self-awareness, but the band is moving in the right direction.

That distinction goes to Crosby Stills and Nash

 

Love this song. I think the album is good too. A great change in direction.
