This Aoki song could honestly be pretty solid if it wasn't for all the..... Aoki of it all

 

ok I spoke too soon, whatever is happening vocally around 2:00 isn't great

 

Anyone think this could actually be on the new blink album? Like maybe they wrote it and Aoki just threw his twist for his album just some thoughts I wouldn’t mind hearing a full on blink version maybe we will who knows

 

I think it would be odd for them to have a weird version out of a song this early that would be on their next album, but who knows

 

I think this song is just for the Aoki album. To me it wouldn't fit on a Blink album. The writing style doesn't really even scream blink-182 at me.

 

Just watched a guitar cover of the song on youtube and it makes it much more bearable for me.

 

I saw a comment on youtube say that the original version of this was recorded during the California sessions but was shelved. Any truth to that?

 

I don't know but the verses sounds exactly same as verses at Marks Dog song

 

Seen that a couple places today but I don't ever remember hearing that title. I'm not sure

 

I’ve never listened to an Aoki record but I can fuck with this record so far. Glad it exists. I like the Jim’s Adkins song, too.

 

FWIW according to iTunes Mark, Matt, Travis, Feldmann and Aoki have writing credits on it.

Yeah same here. I mean I wouldn't put it in my top 100 blink songs or anything like that but it's not horrible where I'll skip it every time it comes on. I would have liked it much better if it wasn't an Aoki song obviously but yeah.
