I cry all the time. Music, movies, touching moments, books, saying goodbye to people I won't see in a long time, buying my house, when my nephews do something sweet, when bad shit happens to good people

 

The Hotelier and The Wonder Years are the two best bands of this decade imo, I know most people are over TWY but Suburbia and TGG are still perfect to me.

 

Sometimes, in the morning, when I'm listening to music on the bus songs strike me and I have to refrain from shedding tears. "Sunday Candy", for example, has led to this situation on multiple occasions.

 

Pretty much the only guaranteed ways to get me to cry is to let me watch or read Lord of the Rings. Or, God forbid, Marley & Me.

 

I get emotional with songs. Like I'll be singing a long and then a part of the some will just HIT me right in the feels. and then i can't get through it and I cry and say "god damn it Kelly Clarkson, stop it!"

 

I was distraught and cried for a couple days after watching Titanic and Rose didn't scoot over and let Jack onto that piece of wood. Then she said I'll never let go Jack made him let go of her hand and then pushed him down into the water. That's fucked up. Still my fave movie though.

 

Chance was my exact thought haha. Hits me so hard in Sunday Candy and others.

 

You'd think they'd have tried a little harder to make that situation work out for the both of them but nope. She was just like peace out, Jack.

 

Pretty much any time I say I cry I'm exaggerating. I tend not to cry unless I'm in physical pain

Emotional scenes in movies get to me every time. I almost cried to zootopia ffs, but I wasn't alone.

 

I cried for 20 minutes in the theater after American Sniper ended. I will not and cannot watch that movie a second time.

TV and movies get to me super easily. Less so with music but occasionally. Last time I can recall crying to music was when I was seeing Sleater Kinney live.

 

I get misty eyed in movies a lot

 

I also cry easily when recording music. If the topic includes my mom, my friend who died of a heroin overdose or my religious life collapsing I have to take multiple takes lol

 

How do you fuckers get so many damn points?!

 

I will never know how some people can get through recording a very sad song without balling.

Like Kelly Clarkson's "Piece by Piece". Poor girl couldn't even get through that song when she was pregnant with her son. I know that feeling. the very short 7 weeks i was pregnant last year, EVERYTHING made me cry.

Same thing with Taylor Swifts "Mine". I can't get through the last part of that song with out yelling "Damn it Taylor you're killing me here!" Tears for days.
