This record is still holding up great and firmly with Infirmary and GM as the albums I know will be my go to albums most often. Crimson right behind those

 

my guess is that derek wasnt there for most of the writing of it, he probably got sent the songs ideas or only was in the studio to track drums for a really short time.

 

Haven't gotten a chance to dive into it yet but weird

 

I think that's probably the case. Matt and Dan were posting things online which indicated they were in the same place, but I discounted it being actual recording because Derek was nowhere to be seen. They should've photoshopped him into the liner photos.

 

I remember that article I read was really playing up the alkaline duo aspect of it a lot

That's so awesome! Definitely my favorite song on the record too, especially since I live the next light south from the Damen & Division intersection so it hit me in my feelz.

I started buying up their discography on vinyl. Got Damnesia on Amazon and ITTC? just showed up today.

 

You have entered a long dark path haha. Alkaline Trio is the only band I have at least one copy of everything they have ever pressed on vinyl.

Cancelled my interpunk order for this album. It was the Bone variant if anyone was trying to get it awhile back. Interpunk simply just took too long with their orders and I already have the red variant.
