They already said the album sounds almost nothing like Lift a Sail. But if you're referring to Lighte & Sounds, I agree.

 

Will be interesting to see when the band does some sort of official announcement.

 

Yep, I was referring to Lights & Sounds!

I must admit that a record in the vein of Lights And Sounds will surely please me, one of the most underrated albums ever.

 

I definitely don't see this being their last album. Seems silly to speculate about that too.

 

I loved Lift a Sail so change it up all you want YC. I'll most likely love it.

God damn. Been on a huge YC kick lately as well due to this news. The outro of Holly Wood Died is something beautiful.

 

Just listened to Lights and Sounds in full on my train ride to work, good album but I can only listen to it sparingly compared to the rest of their catalogue. Listening to Takedown right now, LP's drumming is great on this track

 

I too have been on a big YC kick and yeah L&S has some great songs. Its definitely my least favorite of the post OA releases but I do like it a lot more than most seem to. I will acknowledge that Ryans voice sounds off/bad in some spots but I really like the direction they went with.

 

late to the speculation party but I really don't think it's their last album. Ryan JUST built a studio, I would think he would want to get more than one yellowcard album out of it. Yes he plans to produce and whatever for other bands but he without a doubt built it for himself, too.
