this setlist is fucking RIDICULOUSLY good.

 

@primavera how did you like the show last night? there was a smaller crowd there than I expected.

 

Cursive is playing a bigger venue/borderline theater in Chicago on this tour and I'm curious how they fill it. I believe they sold out (or close to it) the last 2 times they've rolled through and played Lincoln Hall which is the perfect venue for them because it's intimate with amazing sound and lighting.

Saw them the other night in Charlotte and it was incredible. They did The Casualty into the Martyr and it was everything I’d dreamed

One of my absolute favorite concert moments was getting to see them play Domestica in its entirety on New Year's Eve. The energy of that album in a live setting is electric.

The current sour set list looks pretty incredible. I don't go to many shows in my old age, but I'm thinking very heavily about seeing them when they come through in a few weeks.

 

Was that at Subeterranean in Chicago? My buddy and his lady went and he said as soon as midnight hit the band burst into The Casualty and said it was the greatest concert moment he's ever experienced.

I am jamming the shit out of Vitriola today on this gloomy Election Day. It's all too fitting in the ramp up into this election.

The very same. Seriously one of the best shows I've ever been to.

 

I stopped deliberating and bought tix for Chicago tomorrow. Never been to Thalia Hall, but I've heard it's pretty. Super excited for this set, even if I'm going alone

 

Went last night in Detroit and they sounded incredible.

 

I'm going through their discography in chronological order today in preparation. I am realizing that I was just not ready for albums like Happy Hollow and Mama, I'm Swollen when they came out. They're fantastic and clicking with me years later. It was just tough being in The Ugly Organ's shadow I suppose.
