Woah nu metal really is making a comeback for better or for worse. This is ok not a huge fan of it but its not bad I guess. Totally sounds like 1999/early 2000s nu metal it's crazy.

 

I just finally listened to it a couple weeks ago and love it now.

Yeah, that's the point. They are annoying because nobody cares about that stuff when the just want to have fun but it's important and people should care about that stuff.

Yes. I live in Texas and I haven't seen KOTH. Wasn't a requirement when I was in school that got put in later.

 

I really should revisit that one too actually.

 

Having so much good new music makes it a bit tough to revisit stuff!

 

Nu metal was never bad imo. It just follows the trend of more "angsty" rock (grunge, nu metal, emo) being unpopular/hated on at the time but withstanding the test of time and being much better than people gave it credit for.

 

Just got the hookup for free tickets to universal’s horror nights but idk if I can even use them

 

I mean yeah not all nu metal is bad but at the same time its certainly not all great either. Methods of Mayhem. Need I say more?

New He Is Legend single is fun. Already played it a couple of times today. Love how so many bands from the scene are still pumping out new material in 2018 and it's actually good too.

 

Marketing guy doesn't make buying a house sound fun at all. Glad I don't have any plans to do that in the near future.

Yeah there were definitely stinkers (looks at limp bizkit) but I meant more like the genre as a whole. There are also some terrific bands in the genre (Korn, early deftones, early disturbed, ultraspank, taproot, and of course slipknot)

True I just think nu metal is a lot more hit or miss than other genres.

I've really been into a band called Dead Soft lately. Since discovering they are the opener on The Dirty Nil tour. They released a new EP recently and their one LP from 2014 is enjoyable grungy alt rock. Short too which is even better. ColinTheRecommender recommends.
