Half Life 3 announcement should definitely be Lauryn Hill

 

Valve will bring Bowie back to announce HL3.

 

Totally forgot Bloodstained was even a thing and it will be playable at E3. I hope that game impresses.

 

yeah I have high hopes for it.

 

It would be cool if we could get some more information on Criterion's new game. It's been a few years.

 

I hope we get L3ft 3 D3ad

Being honest here, I'd be more excited about a Portal 3 or L4D3 than I would HL3.

 

I'd be more excited for Portal 3 than most things.

Playing Doom. Now I want Bethesda to announce a new Quake.

 

Some speculate that MachineGames may be working on a Quake game.

 

Could be, but I don't know if they could do both Quake and Wolfenstein at the same time. I don't think their team size is big enough.

 

It would definitely be one or the other.

I hope Andromeda looks good, I've waited forever and a day for that game.

 

They announced it way too early. 2013 was not a good time. I thought it was deep in development then, but nah, it had probably just started development.

 

What surprises me though about Andromeda is that it's been in development for years now and very little about it has been shown of it. You'd think which ME being such a high profile franchise in gaming, more would of been shown or leaked out. In fact, hats off to EA for keeping such a lid on it in an era where so much leaks out before it's revealed.

Wolfenstein is one of those short games that I felt fully justified in paying full price for. Loved it so damn much.

Portal 3 would be amazing. L3D3 is a big one for me because it was the first co-op game I really got enthralled with.

 

Yeah but remember EA's conference that year? They didn't really have anything to show. Lots of behind the scenes stuff with no gameplay. Battlefront, Andromeda (which didn't have a name yet), that criterion game, mirror's edge. I think the Sims got more stage time than anything else. Although that reminds me that they also mentioned a new bioware ip was in the works. Wonder if we get any word on that this year.

 

I don't think we'll see that new IP until ME:A and it's DLC is finished to be honest. That 2013 conference was such a shitshow though, although EA's conferences typically are kinda trash to begin with.

 

I thought that new Bioware IP became Shadow Realms which got cancelled. I could be wrong though.

 

Wonder if Microsoft is going to announce a new season of Killer Instinct. I was watching the KI tournament during the Combo Breaker stream on Twitch and it seems to be going strong.
