However long is a fun song and works well in its placement of the album

Yes. HL is surrounded on all sides by better songs and it breaks the more emotional end. I would’ve placed it in the first half of the album. My only complaint about the whole record. Still listen to it constantly. Will more than likely be my AOTY.

 

But is it better than Hitchens?!?

 

Yes, and I love Hitchens.

 

How about you guys that have connections tell them to stream this today, so I have some company during my night shift tonight.

 

I asked if it was going to stream and he responded “I havnt heard from the label on that.” Haha

I don’t think however long stands out as much as other people have suggested but I do think I like almost everything else on here more

 

however long makes perfect sense and also i think it’s jam

 

That transition from Let Me Go to Come and Gone still gets me.

 

Based on the fact that However Long was the first single, is upbeat and a fun song that could catch a casual listener, I definitely think it could have been a good song to put at like #3 or 4 on the album, but oh well. It’s a jam. I am still crossing my fingers the album gets to me by the end of Wednesday so I can listen on my million hour flight Thursday, but I’m going to probably just have to wait until my flight back home Tuesday, and I guessssss that’s ok.
