I've only heard of Jollibee through a Childish Gambino song.

 

They've referenced Jollibee on the podcast before. That was the first time I can remember hearing of it.

maybe the Eugene Cordero episode? idk

 

It was on an Anthony Bourdain show I believe.

 

Yeah, I've only heard of it due to a previous mention on the podcast. Jonah should be a fun guest.

 

Finally getting around to this

Starting from the beginning but I'll probably skip around

 

The mascot is so weird looking in that way where I can't take my eyes off it. There's a lot to process there.

 

Just listen all the way through. The jokes/banter/relationship between the hosts just builds and builds and personally, I'm glad I listened to all of them... and probably will a second time.

 

I was just going to skip the restaurants I haven't been to, but it looks like it takes a while before that happens anyway

 

That's not a terrible idea, and I know a 50 episode back log seems daunting, but I'd suggest starting at the beginning and seeing where it takes you. I've just become a big fan of the show rather quickly and want to spread the love.

Starting now. Stoked for Jonah being the guest. Never even heard of this restaurant though. And "sweet spaghetti" at a fast food franchise sounds horrifying.

Just started Jollibee.

But, I decided I want to stir up the HH Doughboys rivalry again and make a drop that's Sean continually saying "Hamburger Sandwich" and possibly add when he talks about Doughboys on HH.

 

Have a long car ride and I wanted to save the new episode for then, it's taking all my willpower to hold off listening.

 

That's a great idea and you def gotta add the Doughboys references on HH.
