Just played a game with 4 symmetras, a torb and bastion on a team, so many turrets, we won quite easily.

 

I'm finally starting to properly learn how to play Lucio and it's such a blast playing him now especially when I have those two songs that were shown on here blaring in the background.

I also seem to do a lot more healing with Lucio than I do wth Mercy most games.

 

i got the achievement for getting 5 people in the graviton at once. BUT NOBODY ELSE ON MY TEAM WAS ON THE POINT. i was so annoyed. it's like hello everyone is stuck here! i can't 1 v 5, especially when this is over!

 

Zarya, Mei, and D.Va are three of my favorites haha. Zarya in particular, if you're good with your projected shields you can being fucking horrifying for the other team.

 

The one game I played well with Zarya I freaking crushed it. I think it was actually my first full game with her. D.Va has been my preferred tank lately

 

I really hope that when Blizzard starts up the official Overwatch league, we get an all female team. They could just play female characters and I think there team could be really good.

Tracer / Pharah / Mei / Zarya / Mercy / D Va sounds like a pretty great team if played right.

 

I just started playing as Mercy and I love it...Lucio has lot more mobility and his weapon is more effective...Mercy is squishy as hell, a pharah rocket can land a mile away and she'll die.

 

Silly to limit yourself to a specific team comp based on character gender.

 

Also, D.Va will probably get a buff. She basically has to be on top of something to do any damage. I think they said either a damage buff or a bulk buff for her. As for Mei, if you can avoid being focused immediately you can just run around and freeze people while others kill them. You can also wall just about every ult in the game. The other day I was sitting at the entrance to point B of Volskaya face to face with a Reinhardt a few dozen yards away. We stared down for a bit while I sat waiting to put a wall in face. He knew it was coming. Then he charged me and I put a wall in his face and ran away

 

Think blizz was talking about making D.va a bit bulkier.

She's really good for King of the Hill maps.

 

Yup that's the problem with Mercy is how fragile she is. I typically stay back or hide somewhere with her unless I'm behind a Reinhardt.

I never realized how effective Lucio weapon was until I started getting these 10 eliminations games plus 5,000 healing.

 

You think she'll get a buff? I've felt like her Ult needs a nerf. My roommate always talks about how her '2nd life' is so unfair lol. I personally think it's a trade off; if they did anything they should maybe slow her down a bit outside of the suit.


I say nerf her ult a bit, slow her down outside of the suit, and buff almost everything else.


Also is there a table for like, actual damage numbers that abilities/attacks do?

 

One thing I love with Mei is beating snipers and Bastions 1v1. The alt fire is so powerful you can just run back and forth behind a wall and take pot shots at those characters and win pretty easily, especially if the Bastion never sees you

 

He can be a monster on the Ilios stage with the big hole...or lijiang towers with the moat around the center objective. Just knock everyone off. Personally, I find his ulti to be a bit more effective than Mercy's.

 

They've talked about how she's not quite as bulky as she could be because if you shoot anywhere near the middle top of the mech it counts as a headshot, as well as how her damage is negligable outside of close range. Her ult is fine imo, it's incredibly easy to avoid with the way ults are announced to the entire map, the giant red warning above the explosion, and the way that its blocked by virtually any prop on the map. If anything was going to change with the ult I'd remove the giant red warning, makes it way too easy to avoid. But that's not really a big deal, it just means it serves more to scatter a team than kill them most of the time

 

Here is what Jeff Kaplan said about the D.Va buff:

"With D. Va, we're still in exploration mode. There's a couple of directions we could take her and it's still unclear which direction we'll go. Obviously her damage has come into question from a lot of people. You have to be really close to do effective damage with D. Va and we might look at that. We might also look at her survivability. A lot of time, D. Va can get herself into situations where she's a tank and it feels like she should be there, but then she gets knocked out of that mech so quickly. We probably won't do a bunch of buffs to her damage and her survivability; we'll probably pick one direction or the other, but right now, we've been exploring both.

We've tried high-damage D. Va with lower survivability. She's almost more of a skirmisher. We've tried other directions, like not buffing her damage, but buffing her survivability. I think the D. Va buffs will take a little bit longer for us to get to, but the McCree balance changes should come sooner. D. Va's not in a horrible place, we just feel like she could be in a slightly better place, whereas McCree is causing a lot of concern in the community and we want to make sure they know we're responsive."

 

Oh and her second life, idk, she's basically useless running around trying not to die and taking pot shots outside of the suit, if they nerfed her speed she'd die immediately which defeats the purpose of having the second life at all. She has virtually no moves outside of it either so it's not hard to kill her if you try, a lot of people just let her get away which is their own fault. It ends up meaning very little on any point capture map where everyone is condensed on one spot because there's less room for her to run away.

 

Worth mentioning, the McCree nerf they're talking about will be something that allows his flashbang+FTH to still basically one shot any flankers or lower health, but they don't like how it destroys even tanks at this point.

 

I haven't been able to melt a tank with just one FTH, If I have my dash however then yeah it's pretty easy to take out everyone.

 

Oh man, if only all my teammates were as aware as this guy while I played mercy.

 

That was pretty awesome.

 

I'm about to hit 50 and feel like a total loser. Then I get into games with level 100s and don't feel so bad anymore.
