YES. I loved that book and I'm so excited to finally see the movie. I'll have to do another read through soon.

The new Adam Sandler special was a lot better than I expected. Get high and watch it, people.

My favorite thing right now is getting a little toasty and watching the carbonaro effect. Might follow through on this rec though.

It’s very funny. Another sitcom that’s flying under the radar is Kim’s Convenience. I believe it’s even on Netflix now in the US.

This might be an embarrassing question since it's so widely recognised but should I watch Making A Murderer? Docuseries are really hit or miss but I'm hearing good things, albeit a bit late to the game.

Yes. The first season is addicting.

Also maddening at some of the tactics used by the the police and prosecution (regardless of whether one or both are guilty). Like Ken Kratz is not someone I am trying to kick it with. His Yelp page was pretty good reading until the site removed the reviews.

Kratz is an evil dude. Regardless of Avery/Dassey's innocence/guilt.

Making a Murder is a good show, but it's definitely slanted.

    minor spoiler
The cops were obviously doing some shady shit, and they're timeline/story of events doesn't add up, but that doesn't automatically make them innocent. Although they probably shouldn't have been found guilty based on the burden of proof/preponderance of evidence.

I just think people should realize they're only seeing 10 hours of edited footage from a very long trial that likely had hundreds, maybe thousands of hours of testimony/evidence/footage/etc...

I couldn't get past the bad acting in kim's convenience. The dad was good though

I just finished watching The Dragon Prince the other day and despite its animation being... inconsistent, to say the least, I liked it a hell of a fucking lot. I can very easily say that if you liked Avatar The Last Airbender or The Legend of Korra, you will like it. It's made by some of the same people.

    Atypical rules.

I was hesitant on it at first too, but I recently decided to give it a shot and wound up burning through season 1 in like 2 days (something I never do) - I haven't watched S2 yet, but only because I'm waiting to watch it with family, but it's a rare show that will make me laugh out loud and still be extremely heartfelt without ever feeling cheesy or forced. Give it a shot, I highly recommend it.

I'm watching the new Adam Sandler stand up special right now. At some parts it's so bad that I'm embarrassed for him.....but then at other times I'm in pain from laughing so hard.

The "We Need a Hero" song had me pissing myself.
