It’s good but I haven’t been floored bu either of these tracks in the way I expected. Missing U has grown on me a lot at this point though.

Had no idea about this thread till just now, just posted this in the main Robyn thread so makes sense to post it here too.

Super stoked for the new album next month. Both tracks released so far for me have been great. Missing U is a top tier Robyn track imo.

pretty solid overall, will need more listens to dive deeper in

 

I got through about 2/3rds of it on my way to work and had pretty much the same opinion. Out of the songs I hadn't heard previously I really liked Baby Forgive Me.

 

The closer is really good, the singles sound better than ever, but there's quite a bit that didn't really click with me. I'm sure it'll change with more time and more focused listens. Still think it's quite good, but its a weird album to process after the wait.

 

this is her best album, possibly a masterpiece

it's 2018 and robyn released the minimal house album of the year, hell yes

 

'baby forgive me' got me grooving, so good

 

thought I'd take issue with this but then I listened and damn, some of this sounds like poppier Kompakt stuff

 

Can’t wait to go back to this. Kind of wish it didn’t come out the same day as a thousand other things.

 

kinda wish there was a royksopp track since their collabs are always top notch

 

anyway this is way more subtle than I was expecting which may be why there’s no royksopp since that’s not really their steez. this album is super understated and chill and contemplative and tbh it’s exactly what I didn’t know I wanted from her
