Boston is one of the best cities in the US so of course they had to ruin it with their fucking sports teams and their Mark Wahlberg

 

More so referring to you talking about going 18-1 yesterday lol

 

Yeah, I couldn't imagine consuming all of the fat that I do (healthy fat or not) and not working out. I feel like that would be awful.

I've talked to some people that have done this for years and have adopted it as a lifestyle and yeah, I don't think that is ideal even a little bit and feel fairly certain that is going to catch up to them in the long run. I'll do it for no more than 3-4 months and then adjust from there.

 

My big issues with Keto are:

1) unless you’re taking supplements, the average person isn’t getting vitamins/nutrients when your diet causes you to cut fruits and most vegetables, since those are carbs

2) like you said, it’s not sustainable for most people, and the re-introduction of carbs causes you to gain weight quickly while your body adjusts

But yes definitely, what you said about exercising and eating avocados and fish a lot definitely mitigate a lot of those issues

 

Haha fair. Though really, 18-1 doesn't bug me too much. Wish we'd take down the stupid 16-0 banner. 2006 bugs me more than anything else. Rechee Caldwell makes one catch and we're off to face the Bears and Peyton only has one ring that Von Miller gifted him.

 

Also Marky Mark sucks and I hate him.

I went out to eat at the wahlburger restaurant with my SO and her extended family when they were in town, would have said no if it wasn’t the first time I met them

 

Yeah, I take supplements for magnesium, Omega D's, Vitamins C/D and a few others to ensure I am still getting a sufficient amount of those. I also use an MCT Oil in the bulletproof coffee I make every morning. Like I said, I think if you do keto, you should make sure you understand it and know where your body is going to be deficient in certain areas and how to fulfill those requirements.

A lot of people jump right into it, cut out all carbs and just start eating fat foods without any thought and that's not good.

The first time I did it, when I came off and started re-introducing carbs....the weight really didn't start to come back that fast but eventually it did but partially I believe that was because I went through a period afterwards where I wasn't working out or doing much in terms of strenuous activity when my daughter was born. Had my hands full in other areas to concentrate too much on what the hell I was doing with myself.

I'll be curious to see how it works this time around being now that I can still maintain my standard after I finish this round.
