My friend annoys me saying we fucked up reaching for McCaffrey when we could’ve had Kamara later. I told him if they switched teams it’d be McCaffrey getting the love and Kamara being somewhat underwhelming (although McCaffrey hasn’t been underwhelming imo).

 

Okay so why in this hypothetical situation are we not saying "fire Hackett" haha

The Panthers have all the right talent to be a really good modern day offense. But our staff is stuck in the Stone Age.

 

Being realistic. We weren’t gonna fire Hackett after he went to the AFCCG, that’s why.

And admittedly I was still thinking “oh he’s just patient and good at generating momentum” and not realizing our talent and the fact that our team stayed healthy is the SOLE reason that happened and Hackett just rode that despite being a shitty decision maker

Weeks 5-7 this year have made that obvious though so OFF WITH HIS HEAD

 

All this RB talk makes me sad because aaron Jones is probably the best RB the pack have had in YEARS and he isn’t even utilized as much as he should be.

All this RB talk makes me sad that Arian Foster tore his Achilles the last time we played the Dolphins and then we let him go to the Dolphins and signed Lamar Miller just because he gashed us in that game and he underperformed forever.

Jags runningback situation actually isn’t bad anymore haha. Hyde / Yeldon is fuckin great as a backup plan when you don’t even have your feature back. If the Jags don’t immediately run 35 times and get back on track offensively then I need Coughlin to fire Hackett over the bye week and take over as interim OC.

Our defense isn’t good enough anymore for us to consistently win like we used to. I can see the effort Rivera and his guys have made to try and change the offense but their big picture habits won’t change. It’s holding the team back.
