God that bridge is pure bliss and sits right up there with some of the best moments on the early records

 

very stoked to see them for the 7th time in a little under 2 weeks here. It won't happen but if they wanted to fuck around and just play this whole album.... I wouldn't be mad

 

So obviously I love the album but while everyone was raving about Toys I thought it was good but didn't love it quite as much as everyone else. Well it just clicked on a 4th listen haha

 

Yeah, Toys has been clicking more with me too. I wasn't on the initial bandwagon either for that one.

 

Queen of the Dark is so good. That song is what most of YOTBR should have been

 

100%. That was my favorite on first listen. I love the atmosphere of it. It such a cliche word these days, but "epic" really describes the song well, IMO.

The atmosphere is kinda like a "Welcome Home" that's more depressed and resigned instead of angry

Claudio's vocal performance on the chorus is impeccable

 

today, The Pavilion is the song from this album that is stuck in my head

 

The Pavilion is a top 3 song on here.

Shoutout to the second verse of "True Ugly". Aggressive as fuuuuuuuuuuu.

 

Don't see a lot of people mentioning the bridge in Night Time Walkers. It's great, and the keyboard flourish right before it opens up is a great build.

 

One of my very favorites on here. Last part gives me the chillz

 

lucky stars is going to sound great before the shows on their acoustic if they play it. its not getting much love around here

this is by far their best album to pump in the car. the third "i'm on MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY..... KNEES" in Toys has nearly killed me many times

 

hey guys its been almost a month and this record still very much holds up

 

aging beautifully.

 

I might like this better than the album version, haha.
