Trump threatens nuclear buildup until other nations 'come to their senses' - CNNPolitics

“President Donald Trump told reporters Monday that the United States would increase its nuclear arsenal until other nations "come to their senses," threatening an arms race days after he said he would withdraw the US from a Cold War nuclear treaty.”

 

Not sure how much to read into it, especially since I never lived there, but driving around in the Catskills last week I only saw Faso signs on people's lawns... and I felt like I saw a lot of them

 

Damn they're gutting the arts magnet school i went to. Used to be, you were either full day or half day, and would have your academic classes in the mornings and then get bussed in from either your hometown school or the other campus of the magnet school to have your 3+ hours of classes focused solely on your arts major. Now, if you're full day, you don't get to come and have those dedicated arts classes, and instead just have basically a regular school day at the other campus except you get some extra time dedicated to an arts "track." Of course the full day kids are the ones who don't have a great school to go to in their hometown for half the day, ie the poor and not white kids. So now the half day, totally arts-focused classes will be smaller (good!) and almost exclusively filled with white kids from the suburbs (bad!). very lame

 

Oh. Ok.
