One of the worst releases ever

 

I’d rather blink never release music or play a show again than do anything with Tom.

 

I just listened to Neighborhoods for the first time in awhile. “Snake Charmer” is the best song on there. That bridge is pure magic.

 

I hope for whatever interpersonal/artistic balance makes tom and mark happiest. i do not think that balance involves tom in blink-182, but if they ever reached a point where they felt they could work together again, and were able to be productive and happy as a team again, more power to them. tom is not a good songwriter, guitarist, or singer, so the music would suffer, but the music doesn't do all that much for me anyway so no big loss there.

i also think people are making way too much of fun tweets. we just had everyone flipping out because apparently mark/travis/matt and feldmann unfollowed each other in some combination but they are still apparently working together and doing fine, there's no reason to flip out over tweets again.

 

I think if Tom came back and Matt stayed in the band he could be a cool bridge between Tom and Mark collaboratively. Not like that would ever happen, but could be cool!

 

This I might get behind, but only if they didn’t push matt to the background and Tom didn’t drag his feet like usual

 

Its still Kaleidoscope for me, but Snake Charmer is def up there.

Trust me. I thought the same thing after I said it...

 

I remember hearing Hearts All Gone live for the first time before Neighborhoods came out being so excited that Tom and Mark were trading vocals back and forth.

Only to be let down upon the the record's release.

 

Neighborhoods isn't perfect but it was a pretty big record for me at the time it came out. I love a lot of those songs.

I'll never understand why Snake Charmer and Heart's All Gone Interlude were only on the deluxe release. They totally belonged on the standard album.

 

Matt is on tour with Alkaline Trio.

 

Skiba had a Trio show, can't be in two places at once lol

 

That was completely the label milking that record. Mark went on record saying the “deluxe edition” is the only version that he considers the record.

Edit: I used the word record a lot in this post. I need to go to bed.
