Well Johns pretty much started the FE story throughout his JL when N-52 started and I'd say start at JL:Origins and read his whole run especially if you enjoyed FE. It's worth it for the art!

That whole run is great. I loved the JLA and JLU crossovers. I just wish I had bought it all in a contained story.

Just finished up Graveyard Shift. Was confused about a few things since these seemed more to tie into other series, but still enjoyed it. Starting Endgame tomorrow and once I read through that I will have read all 8 trades now. After that I may take a brief break from DC and get to some of the Image trades I have. Or dive into the Comixology Unlimited trial. Too many options!

It's a lot more annoying since I reserved a copy.

EDIT: Found one online! Nevermind haha

Just picked up some more Rebirth titles. Wonder Woman, Flash, Batman Detective Comics, and grabbed Green Arrow since apparently it was quite good. What all are you guys grabbing today/this week?

I was thinking of putting in an order this week, but I'm going to wait until next week to do one big one. Nothing has really come out the last two weeks in terms of trades I want.

The Flash artwork didn't appeal to me, and I was gonna grab Wonder Woman but didn't think it looked that good. Maybe in the minority with the latter opinion, lol.

Besides the main one-shot, so far I've read Green Lanterns, which set the stage quite well, and Batman, which had good art and was decent but pretty uneventful.

What are you thinking will be in your order? Only thing that really caught my attention for next week was Batman Earth One Vol. 2, although I haven't read the first yet but was considering it. Despite not a lot of newer stuff I want, I could always place an IST order for a bunch of Batman and Flash trades I've been wanting. I just have no space left for trades or books in general right now.

    Superman/Wonder Woman v3
    Spider Woman v1
    Art Ops v1
    Sex criminals v3
    Ringside v1
    X-Men Inferno v2
    Clean Room v1

And maybe a Nailbiter trade or two.

I also read the main one plus Batman and Superman last week. I'm essentially just getting a handful of these to decide which I'd want to collect in trades later. I agree that Batman was fairly uneventful, though. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Nice! Nailbiter is on my list to check out on Comixology Unlimited. A lot of people in here seem to really enjoy it so that made it an easy choice to add to my list. You'll have to let me know how Art Ops is!

I read the first two issues of Art Ops and enjoyed it. I'm mostly picking it up because I adore the Allreds' art.

I had submitted a request for a review copy because it looked awesome but I got declined for that and Jacked. DC/Vertigo only seem to like me sometimes when it comes to review copies haha.

I still have such a soft spot in my heart for the Bryan Q. Miller run on Batgirl with Steph in the lead.

So that art hits me hard with the feels.

Haha. After I posted that I looked him up on twitter. Apparently he is writing for the new show GUILTY.

And he is also married to the head of programming at the Syfy network. Which must be pretty cool.

Starting off my Comixology Unlimited reading with Hip Hop Family Tree Vol.1. Has anyone read it?

Dustin Nguyen is absolutely my favorite artist.

Never heard of that show. I think I knew that and thought it was pretty neat. I know Syfy gets a lot of shit but lately they've been putting out some quality stuff.

Read both volumes of Batman Inc (The new 52 one), mainly because I wanted to read about you know who dying since Graveyard Shift wouldn't shut up about it. I really enjoyed it by the end, might have been the most violent Batman I've read thus far which looked gorgeous. I don't give a shit about any of the other "batmen" though and apparently neither did the story because they were only in a small portion of it, usually the special issues, so that's good as that would have become tiring. The big event itself was great, as was the aftermath. Crazy how much of the Dark Knight Rises I saw in there, just with Bane replaced by clone D. Looks like I'll be going back through Morrison's run now, ordered Batman and Son the other day. I still don't like the idea of Robin.

And I started The Suicide Squad's New 52 run. Love it a lot.

Robin is fine it's Damian Wayne that is the problem. Morrison could write the hell out of that character and Pete T was pretty good too but Bruce Wayne having a biological son fundamentally changes Bruce's character in ways I don't like. Damian will always be around...even when they killed him it only lasted about 5 months.
I'm pro Robin but now anti-Damian for the most part.

The other thing is Morrisons Batman Inc clearly did not fit in the New 52 and it drove me nuts that everything in that story was basically ignored (maybe Spiral came out of that too I don't remember) in continuity except the Death of Damian so we had 6 months of Bruce moping around except in the main book. Scott Snyder is smart and clearly didn't want to deal with a sad sack Batman so he did Zero Year instead as a work around.

I love Damian. He is such a wonderful little sh*t. I loved when he would interact with Steph's Batgirl and Supergirl. Such an older sister / little brother vibe.

I can't wait to see that little brat try and lead the Teen Titans haha.
