Everyone else seems upset (when realistically there are likely more dates coming), but Portland never gets anything this good, so I'm over here freaking out.

Wtf why no New England? I’m shattered. I’ve been waiting for this announcement for weeks

Guess I can visit my parents in Maryland and go to the dc show but that seems a bit much

My first reaction was that it was repurposed footage from the She’s American video we never got, but it’s definitely new.

I feel the same way, but there has to be more with the 2nd album.

If they are going to announce more dates, it just doesn't make sense to me that they wouldn't do it all at once. Especially when people are going to buy tickets to travel somewhere because of it.

The British are weird. I know we are all upset but my gut feeling is there will be more.

Looks to me like it'll be these first round of dates, then almost definitely they are doing the festival circuit next summer, and then in the fall they'll get back around to places they aren't already going and other places around the world. I think it's pretty safe to say they're going to be touring almost non-stop for the next two years. This is their moment, honestly. They're going to play literally everywhere.

I'm not mad about no Boston show yet. I know it'll happen. Also gives me more time to save, haha.
Again, just hoping it's not Boston Calling. Gah!

Is Boston calling that bad? Or is it just expensive

Boston Calling is awesome, but we wouldn't get a full proper 1975 set because they wouldn't be headlining.

Expensive enough. Plus sitting through a bunch of shit I don't care for.

I would just prefer to spend $60-$80 on a full headlining set for one of my favorite bands over $175-$200 to see condensed sets of a handful of bands I enjoy. Just personal preference!

Also, it's a 5-6 hour event over being in the summer heat for double that, haha

  20. Cool. Might go to the Utah date.

I went to Bamboozle in 2008. Longest 3 days of my life. Haven't been to anything like it since. I'd be happy with them playing in Mansfield if it came down to it.

There has to be more dates at some point next year. No way they wouldn’t go to places like LA or NYC.

I love festivals and I’m very glad The 1975 looks to be playing Coachella. I’ll catch a full headliner on the next leg.

would bet good money that their initial dates in boston and ny are both festivals

also assume they’ll come back around shortly
