There was about 5 songs on Raditude I really, really, really liked. But then the rest was total trash. Some dumb song about being in the mall or some shit. Just stop with that.

If you haven’t really looked into those records then you’re missing a lot of great songs

The White Album was (to my surprise) actually half good so I was anticipating the eventual Black Album... but you got me again Weezer!

Thinking you would be back to making good music again... nope. This is awful.

When I saw the headline I though this was going to be a Jay Z cover

They always have one poppier/sillier song than all of the rest on every album, I'm not worried about this at all. There are so many sounds and styles going on within this song, I'm curious to hear where they go throughout the album.

Was just listening to Maladroit last night and it’s still one damn good record.

Pinkerton > Blue Album > Maladroit > Green Album > White Album >>>>>>> the rest of their discography which is mostly bad

Nah, White and EWBAITE are very good. Red, Raditude, Hurley and Pacific Daydream are mostly forgettable and/or terrible. I do like select songs on Red but halfway through it becomes a weird pastiche of 2000s brit pop rip offs.

RANT WARNING: MAKING THE CASE FOR MAKE BELIEVE

How is Make Believe on this list? There's weak points but overall it's miles better than the other three. Perfect Situation, Hold Me, The Other Way, Pardon Me, The Damage In Your Heart and arguably Peace are all classic crunchy-guitar-pop-weezer. That's half the album. Then Freak Me Out and Haunt You Every Day are different sonically but are thematically closer to Pinkerton than anything else they've written since. The album has lows like We Are All On Drugs but at least that has a pretty sick guitar solo and My Best Friend is catchy and silly and would have fit on Green. Beverly Hills is its own animal, but again, has the classic weezer crunchy guitars and a fun solo. I guess I'd call it a guilty pleasure.

    EDIT:
    Conclusion:
MAKE BELIEVE HAS THE MELODIES THAT BOP
