Yeah, most Nintendo games received patches but not like “necessary” day one patches

 

The last boss still fucks me up bad

 

Who remembers THPS5 needing a day one patch lmao

 

I think the day one patch was like 80% of the game lol man that game is a trainwreck, so sad

 

That studio was on Twitter still snarkily defending that fraud of a game until they suddenly stopped tweeting sometime in 2017

 

I love me some Pro Skater (obviously not 5, good lord) but man Underground 2 and American Wasteland were my bread and butter. Especially Underground 2 since I had it on PSP and I played it literally anywhere I went, what a blast.

 

Even Project 8 was still fine and the one on DS was cool too, but man THUG 1 is my personal favorite

 

So.... I bought a PS4 pro. Now to wait a painful weekend for my new tv to get here to experience the true glory

 

thug 1 through p8 were so good tbh that was my favorite part of the series

 

Really enjoyed what I played of Black Ops last night.

 

Need something to tide me over until RDR, you guys recommend Hollow Knight?

 

I have not played Hollow Knight yet but everything I've heard about it says that it is INSANELY long for the price. Not in a bad way, just very long in general.

 

Yeah it's a fantastic game and you get tons of content for your money.

Hollow Knight is one of the best games of the year, I’d also make the case that it’s the best Metroidvania game ever made though I know that take is spicy. It’s easily a 40 hour experience, and it’s pretty difficult, but it’s a truly fantastic experience and I think everyone should give it a shot for how cheap it is.

Anyone here getting Black Ops 4 or Battlefield 5 on xbox?

 

Probably the game I spent the most time on and had the most fun with this year. The first few hours are difficult because there's nobody really telling you where to go and it takes time to figure out your possibilities.

Just beat Shadow of Tomb Raider. I think I had the least amount of fun with this one in the trilogy. It seems to be getting the best reviews, but I don't know, I was kinda bored throughout. I turned off the white indicators so I had to find my own path, but I never felt like it was difficult. I blazed through it. I need to go back, as I only found/beat 3 of the 7 challenge tombs.

 

I decided to play some Rocket League with some family on Friday and dang that game is still so much fun.

 

Just jumped on Blops 4 for the first time, and the servers are down lol

 

what system? they arent on the ps4 ive been playing for like an hour and a half

 

Hmmmm yeah PS4. I tried four times my internet is lightning fast

 

This is the most fun COD for me since MW2

 

Yeah I'm really enjoying BLOPS 4. Never been a single player kind of guy so swapping that out for battle royale is great in my opinion. Regular multiplayer is solid too. Familiar but also enough changes that it should hold my attention for a while.
