Col-Par draw means we advance with a win/draw against Par, with a potential at first. Col win means we advance with a win/draw against Par and having a better goal differential if CR beats Col.

First signing done and I'm happy with it. Lovely.

 

Spurs are close to finalizing a deal for Vincent Janssen. Not as flashy as some of these other signings but he's 21 years old and led the Dutch league with 27 goals.

 

He's good yeah. Hopefully for your sake he's more Suarez than de Jong.

Well, he's a fairly cheap purchase and will be playing backup to Kane. It's not like we are expecting him to be our savior.

Call me crazy, but I think he might come good. I don't think it's fair to judge the players too harshly, based on last year. Especially the new one. LvG's tactics were impressively stagnant. Looking forward to seeing how Memphis, Schneiderlin, Herrera, etc. can do in a competent set up.

 

I haven't lost faith in him. I still believe.

 

Depay can bounce back. I just don't know what United is planning on doing tactically. Martial, Depay, Ibra, Rashford, Rooney seems a bit congested.

 

Jose will play his standard 4-2-3-1 / 4-3-3 in big matches. Ibra will be the main striker with Martial on the left and a new right winger. Rooney is part of the midfield now, Rashford and Memphis will be rotation.

 

Rooney is a midfielder now for some reason. Ibra/Rashford strikers with Martial and Rooney able deputies in case of injury. Martial primarily a left winger with Memphis back up / rotation option. Right wing I'm not too sure about, I would have assumed we would get someone for there, especially if Mata goes, but there's been no rumours at all. Maybe move Memphis right and have him as a touchline hugging winger?

 

What's the plan for Januzaj? He can play on the right but he hasn't really shown much promise compared to his expectations.

 

Januzaj should be put in the give him a year under Jose camp. He'd sort our right hand side out if he reaches his potential.

 

Gotta keep Januzaj just because his chant is great and I know it.
