The only thing I'll change is that Rare wasn't shelved, they were "pushed to the side" in favor of more popular franchises and companies. Everything else is still true.

I saw that. Very interesting. I just want his new game to come out.

 

Stardew Valley on mobile sounds like it’ll control like hell, especially the dungeons and the farming

God I want New Vegas to get that enhanced 360 games treatment so bad

The original Resident Evil is something everyone should play once.

Speaking of, I played Resi 2 remake at NYCC this past weekend

Boy are people not lying when they say that getting grabbed by a zombie disorientates the absolute SHIT out of you, but in a good way. Christ.

 

Well yeah but I feel like playing the original not only makes you appreciate it much more, but it’s also an interesting time capsule of a different era in gaming. Plus, who couldn’t love the voice acting?

Speaking of that Fallout 76 video posted above, I refuse to watch any of it before the BETA. I want to go in as blind as possible aside from the 1st trailers. Stoked beyond belief. I listed to most of the main theme by Inon Zur yesterday and melted. God I love that man's Fallout scores.

 

I played the new Mario Party for the first time last night with a married couple and an AI character for the 4th player. AI was set to normal and beat us all. Probably will never play again.

I lost a game to a Hard difficulty AI by missing the movement bonus star by 1 space and the ally bonus star by one of the AI getting an ally on his last roll. If I had gotten either of those I would have won.

 

The only thing I don't like about Nintendo's party games like Mario Kart and Mario Party is the amount of luck involved. I get that they make it that way so anyone of any age and skill level can play and have a chance, but I wish there was an option to turn that off.

 

I'd argue that both Mario Party and Mario Kart take a surprisingly larger amount of skill than people give them credit for, of course there is still luck involved but it's not quite as dire.

Especially this new Mario Party, the character dice really add a strategic element to the game. There's a legit strategy in rolling a fuckin 0

 

Oh definitely. I know what you mean, but I'm just saying when you get that bit of RNG when the game is like "you want two blue shells and three red in a row right before the finish line" or "oh look, it's chance time on the second to last turn and they swapped stars with you, now you have none!" gets really frustrating.
