Great so they're gonna nerf my 100% Blissey I maxed out for the sole reason it was the best defender. Slightly annoying.

 

But LOTAD.

 

yeah i get being annoyed by that, but the plus side is (theoretically) there will be a ton more viable gym defenders so you’re not just spamming Machamp at everything when taking a gym haha

 

things i wish for:

- legendaries allowed in gyms, but only 1 per
- a “gym leader” mechanic that gives bonuses to whoever actually takes it

 

I've spitballed the idea of Legendaries being able to defend gyms with friends and we all agree. Either allow just one, or maybe if 3 wind up in the gym then don't allow anymore defenders to be added.

 

One legendary per gym makes sense, it seems stupid that they haven’t done it by now.

 

Gimme non local trading

 

Local trading IMO makes the most sense, however the whole stat change thing is BS. I don't care for their reasoning behind it either. I went and caught these Pokemon as is, some of which are very hard to do so. I want to give it to somebody and have it be worthwhile for them. That's the whole point of saving multiples of the same isn't it?

I traded a boosted Mewtwo the other day with 84% stats for an 82% Unown D. We were both level 40's, and both Pokemon had their stats plummet to genuinely terrible. Now they can't be traded again, and they're next to worthless. Makes 0 sense to me.

 

A surprise but a welcomed one.

 

I'm going to reserve judgement on any gameplay changes until they're live. I suspect the only major CP changes are going to be Pokemon with gen 4 evos.

 

I just like competition. I don't get why they give in to the difficulty of a game that's pretty simple to begin with. I want them to stop nerfing all the standouts so that everything is closer to equal. Where's the fun in that?

 

i get the trade rerolling because it would’ve been paradise for spoofers and multi-accounters, both of which drive me nuts. i don’t mind multi-accounting as a concept but there is one dude who comes with three phones and a tablet and then when one of the devices inevitably get booted out because he’s beating the shit out of his mobile hotspot he makes us wait because god forbid he only gets three attempts. 1-to-1 trades would just encourage more of that behavior.

some people spoof because they live in literal nowhere and some spoof because they’re not physically as able to get out and enjoy the game but fuck the rest of them. don’t want them to be able to trade to their heart’s content either.

I get you on that. I guess i've just had nothing but shit trades and it's completely turned me off of trying.

Rhydon is going to be nerfed hard. One of a handful I have over 3000 CP and it is getting another evolution.

Thanks man. Luckily, we aren’t in any of the mandatory evacuation zones in Panama City so that means we don’t have to worry about the flood zones. I live in a very structurally sound house. We should be okay but for lack of a better word it’s going to be intense for the next 5-6 hours. Think I’ll be spending a lot of time in the closet in the master bedroom.

so you can basically farm Meltan for 30 minutes at a time whenever you want if you own the Switch game? strange as hell but i suppose i prefer it over it being more restricted

 

Meltan video was really dumb. Looks like the only way to get it is but linking accounts with your switch.
