For anyone listening to the show as a side note. I cannot understand why Biffy Clyro aren't absolutely huge everywhere like they are in the UK.

 

I mean obviously they are next to each other but with headphones on things can sound very different.

 

Yes. Absolutely huge choruses and some rad song structures. A great festival band too.

 

All The Small Things sounds so much better already. Again, in a higher register though for the vocals. As I said yesterday I really don't think they sound right/in tune singing low.

I haven't listened to the radio in so so long. Is that all radio presenters do nowadays? Say "Amazing!" and then read out things people have said on Twitter?

 

Some of them are actually quite decent with this sort of stuff. I can't wait to hear Scott Mills pretend to know anything about rock music from 1

 

Radio 1 is actually terrible for radio. I could never relate to it and their rubbish Twitter talks.

I only listen to one radio show each week and that's The Elis James and John Robins show on Radio X.
Two comedians and they are absolutely hilarious with some semi-decent alternative music. I urge you all to download their podcast.

 

I avoid Radio X like he plague, mainly cause they are associated to Chris Moyles.

 

Yeah I couldn't tell you the last time I actually had any radio on. It's full of 'Celebs' now who just vacuously talk about themselves and play music that has been paid to be on the playlist rather than people who care about music choosing good music. I just go with sites like this and Spotify to find new stuff and then buy the vinyl of stuff I really like.

 

I downloaded the apple music app but what station will the song be on ?
