I keep thinking that movie IS Goosebumps 2 and it’s so confusing. I’ll have to see it after all these raves.

Also I can’t remember if they took it off and just added it back or if it never left but I’m watching Scream 4 again on Netflix and it’s still so good. They had such a difficult task to make another part and totally nailed it.

Deerhoof is covering some music from The Shining and the one available track is spot on/fantastic.

watching Hereditary (paused for a quick snack break) and i have so many questions......!!!!!!!!

not sure if anyone else has ever thought this, but if you change the music a bit this could totally be a Wes Anderson film. especially with the quirky lighting and set design of the house and the first few scenes. and now the weirdo sister is eating pot cake or whatever :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just watched Halloween II for the first time. It's not good. But it's entertaining

This scene about sums it up

Yes but you have to make sure you watch the original.

There are alternate cut versions of both Halloween II and Halloween: H20. I believe they were both done for cable television, and they're god awful. The deleted scenes are in a different format, they make no sense at times when you do catch them, and some dialogue and character deaths are changed (not for the better).

  12. Malevolence is ok. Has a decent final act.

I did not really like Extremity, which is a shame because I like Anthony DiBlasi's other work that I've seen (Dread, Last Shift).

Alamo Drafthouse had a screening of The Shining last night. It was so nice to see this on the big screen, it almost felt like the first time watching it.

that's amazing. we turned our garage into a home theatre designed like the Black Lodge. watched The Shining in there this weekend. was pretty awesome but even that is only 120 inch haha. I'd give anything to have an Alamo Drafthouse nearby

Funny enough, they had a showing of Fire Walk With Me at another drafthouse in town last night, which sucked because I would have liked to have gone to that one as well. Your garage sounds amazing! Do you have random episodes of Twin Peaks on repeat throughout the day? I'd probably never want to leave the house haha.

it's definitely a difficult decision whether to go out or stay in and use the projector haha. I did watch a couple Twin Peaks episodes in there this weekend as well as some X-Files and Stranger Things. solid long weekend haha.

Does anyone ever enjoy watching The Haunting? I feel like as a kid it scared me, but Scary Movie 2 makes it difficult for me to separate the two films now haha.

The first 2 are cemented in my mind because I've seen them so many times. I do forget too often that the amazing Tim Curry is in the second one though.

The whole movie is a good laugh imo. The Wayans brothers sense of humor may be a little dated, but I will always have a soft spot for their dumb comedies. (Scary Movie 1&2, White Chicks, etc)
