Love the new song too! I just can’t wait to hear the whole thing. I wonder what the news in a few hours is though. It feels like he’s announced everything I could think of at this point.

 

This is better than I was expecting. Super excited!

 

Love the tones in the first song, but this one I like more as a song. So hype, just wish it came out in the summer but seeing as the summer was 90% rain/overcast, I guess this will make more sense

I don't. I was talking to Justin about that earlier this summer and I think he was still figuring it out. I don't think anyone from MCS is going to be joining but I don't know for sure. It might be some of the people from Farewell Continental and/or musician friends has has.

 

I figured it would be friends or some of FC that are still in the Minny area. I figured Josh wanted to get into recording and not tour as much. I think Justin said he was doing some recording with him so I think those two in a room together, plus Justin's vocals, there will always be an element that reminds us of MCS. This record seems like it will be a pleasant surprise for the fall.

 

I also have no idea if he plans to incorporate a moog into any of the MCS songs he plays at these shows, but I am interested in finding out!

 

I would guess no, but what do I know

 

I actually really like these two songs. Sounds like MCS to me. Haven’t really liked anything MCS related since My Dinosaur Life either.

Jesus, after listening to the interview I remembered why I love Justin and his lyrics so much.

 

New song (Shoulder the Weight) is the best one yet. In fact, it'd even pass as a great MCS song.

 

this is better than anything on panic stations.

 

I keep getting more hyped with each song that gets released

 

I’d say all three solo songs are better than most of Panic Stations (with the exception of Anything At All, I Can Feel You, and Days Will Run Away).

 

I thought Justin was a vegetarian.

 

I think Shoulder the Weight took the longest to fully click but is now my favorite released so far. I love the bridge to it. I'm so happy with how this album is turning out.

 

that was the one i loved most right out of the gate. i really want to hear the rest of the album.
