No doing anything. No awkward conversations. No back and forth. No back pedaling or changing your mind. No risk of it going poorly in public or in someone else’s or your own home. It’s an easy peasy one and done text.

Y’all are making it a big todo with your phone calls and your face to face meet up or dinner or going over or whatever. This is clean and easy.

It's almost like context matters. I have a hard time sympathizing with this girl given @ChaseTx's previous posts on her. I've been involved with women who seem similar to what he's describing and well I can most definitely empathize with the mental health aspects I can't do the same when they use that against someone in a blatantly shitty way - it's never an excuse to bring others down. If you can do the face-to-face breakup in that situation, sure, go for it. If the situation has already caused a great deal of stress and/or animosity, a text is perfectly acceptable. I think that's true of any situation where one person has been treated unfairly because after that they don't owe the other person a "proper" breakup. If she's willing to call him at work and blow up on him, imagine how a face-to-face breakup might go. He doesn't need to be blasted by this girl to his face after an already tough situation.
