This is the only live action show being worked on right, or is The Mandalorian a new one? Also with reports of Dave Filoni directing some episodes, are we looking at a high chance of live action Sabine Wren?!

 

I would love to see Tiya Sircar be able to play a live action Sabine. It makes too much sense. I imagine itll be all new cast though.

 

I’m down for this. Does anyone think that rumored Boba Fett film was actually just this show?

Also, please give me some Sabine and the dark saber.

I'd argue that those were 100% different projects. The disconnect between time, in-universe time periods, and people involved seems too stark.

 

Here we go: The series will be written and executive produced by Emmy-nominated producer and actor Jon Favreau, as previously announced, with Dave Filoni (Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels) directing the first episode. Additional episodic directors include Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones), Rick Famuyiwa (Dope), Bryce Dallas Howard (Solemates), and Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok).

 

The past few weeks have been rough, but the KK announcement and now this have helped a bit. That list of directors is super intriguing!

 

Damn that is an eclectic mix of directors. So excited. Didn’t even know Bryce Dallas Howard directed anything.

I know it’s not on that article but anybody know if there’s been a confirmation on the number of episodes?

 

Korg is directing a Star Wars movie. You know there’s going to be a Mandolorian revolution involved somehow

 

No confirmation yet that I’ve seen, just the rumored 8.

 

Damn, that is a solid director list. Very interested to see what Taika does in particular.

 

Filoni finally directing live action is pretty huge.

 

The fact that he gets to set the tone of the series is boner inducing. Like, holy shit.

 

I'm really hyped for this. I also just finished GoT season four so the Pedro Pascal rumors are getting me very excited.

 

The amount of good directors attached to this has me more hyped than the plot itself. This is coming to Disney’s streaming service correct?

 

I actually didn't know he played Korg. Gotta watch that movie again with this knowledge

 

I started Catalyst on audiobook this morning. Liking the production on it. I also feel like a mega dork reading 2 SW novels at once

Oh, I didn't know that, I just saw the first four downloaded to Plex when I woke up, so it must have leaked. Guess I'll go give it a watch!

 

Noob here, but I want to start Rebels and I’m mad you can’t stream it anywhere. I guess I’ll oreer the dvds from the library.

 

Try the Disney Now app. That’s how I watched the 4th season. I think the first couple episodes of Resistance were added today too but haven’t checked yet.

 

Cool. If I need a cable to watch it on the app, i’ll have to use my mom’s info haha
