Yeah this is amazing.

 

The best part is that it doesn't let up in quality.

 

‘It Walks Among Us’ is amazeballs on fire. Love the vocal work on it so much.

The whole song sounds like quintessential GA1 to me (and it would even be one of the stronger songs there), but the vocals are what jump out the most. Something about the vocal harmonies brought me right back to Welcome Home/Writing Writer/Willing Wells in a way nothing since those has.

If so, very cool throwback to probably my favourite ever Coheed song. If not, neat coincidence!

 

Definitely a few tracks here where the lead guitar is mixed stuuuuupidly low.

I'm really sorry to hear it, what a great name for a dog though! I've been through this before with my childhood dog so it's not new territory or anything, but somehow that doesn't help a lot

 

Anyone have the tracklist for Crown Heights Demos yet? Is there something non album in there like Homecoming, Carol Ann, Random Reality Shifts or TCBTS ones?

 

I haven’t listened yet but that’s one of my only complaints with The Afterman

 

Yeah the production is very similar to Afterman, for better or worse.

 

I’ll have ten minutes to download this once it hits Spotify before my 11hr flight back to LA. Fingers crossed for airport WiFi

Sorry for the consecutive comments but wow Toys. I can totally hear Hum in that riff, this is the best Claudio has sounded.

 

this is definitely a long and overwhelming album at first listen but, it grows quickly. i really appreciate how long each song is and there's so much time for everything to breathe and come together. even if there's sections of songs that don't blow me away, by the end of the same song i'm like holy shit yes!!!! every song on here is essential and has something great on it.

 

Love Protocol! You guys weren’t kidding. Calling it a night after The Pavilion because I’m dozing off but I’m loving this so far.
