So not in line with this current thread at all but can I just say FICO credit scores are so horseshit. I have been working on mine for a year and half and have it at a decent level. I found this program for first time home buyers in Michigan which you need a score of 640 for.....that is if its the FICO mortgage score which uses old ass models for your score. So my decent level score is now a shit level score in this model and am below the threshold for this program. Completely bummed.

Lol he got with a slap on the wrist relative to what he did. Maybe you shouldn't have taken your company public if you didn't want to deal with short-sellers.

I'm choosing to believe he wanted to make this face at someone in his mentions so he just posted the pic.

It’s hilarious that Elon Musk has inspired villains for both “Sorry To Bother You” and “Venom.”

Nike 'concerned' by Ronaldo rape allegation

Der Spiegel said Ms Mayorga had filed a report with Las Vegas police shortly after the alleged incident.

But the next year, she reportedly reached an out-of-court settlement with Ronaldo involving a $375,000 (£288,000) payment for agreeing never to go public with the allegations.

Her lawyers are now seeking to declare the non-disclosure agreement void.

In a lawsuit, Ms Mayorga says she met Ronaldo at the Rain Nightclub in the Palms Hotel and Casino, and that he raped her in his penthouse suite.

  15. the answer to this question is even more fun than you'd think: just because congress says so. its a law. its not in the constitution. its just for fun and no one wants to change it
its not even a constitutional issue. you don't need an amendment

  16. national popular vote would be nice but i dont like the independent executive anyway. i like the parliamentary model better but its also not perfect. but better. fptp ruins everything and is probably more important

  19. The Constitution provides for the lifetime appointment of every Supreme Court Justice, though not through any direct language. Instead, the document addresses the ability of Court Justices to hold office “during good Behavior” and does not provide for the necessity that a Court Justice resign after a certain age or period of service.

To be clear, Article III states that federal judges “shall hold their offices during good behavior...”

Unless they are deemed to no longer in “good behavior” they hold their office until they decide to leave or they are determined to be no longer in “good behavior.”

So, Congress can’t pass a term limit law. Because arbitrarily determining that a judge can’t serve more than x amount of years would not be an individualized determination of good or bad behavior.

But I suppose congress could say that, every 10 years, a judge must undergo a “review” to determine if their “behavior” is good enough to remain on the court.

Something along those lines might fly. But straight term limits would be a no go absent an amendment.

  21. i mean any kind of attempt to weaken the court would probably lead to a suit that would go in front of the court to decide on it anyway so really its all hopeless

yeah, but that's even more of a tear down than just simple popular vote. Ranked voting needs to happen.

The only way I see it failing is if they think Kavanaugh not being confirmed gives them enough of a mid-term bump to keep the house & senate. And then re-nominate him after the election just as a second fuck you.

But that's a ton of risk.
