What is a really good feeling is basically being certain that the republicans will control basically everything for what feels like the rest of my life while Democrats continue to fail to build a platform that represents me or anything of value really.

 

Half my life: The Democrats are going too far left they won't represent me anymore!
Other half: The Democrats aren't doing anything at all they will never represent me.

Republicans: What? I couldn't hear you over my voting.

Poll: Nearly half of millennial Democrats identify as socialist or democratic socialist

 

From the poll itself:

"In order to better understand the political landscape in advance of the midterm election, and from the point of view of American millennials, BuzzFeed News and Maru/Blue teamed up to conduct an online survey of 1,006 randomly selected 22-37- year-olds who are members of Maru/Blue’s online panel Springboard America."

75% of the people who took the poll claim they voted. We sure as hell know that millennial turnout wasn't 75%. So this feels like a self selected group that we shouldn't really draw any conclusions about millennial as a whole from.

 

Awhile ago I saw the reason why so many young people drifted towards socialism is because they were starting out in the workforce just as the recession hit and suffered its lingering effects and were turned off by the failures of capitalism.

If you only think he probably isn't a rapist and probably won't overturn Roe vs Wade and still vote to confirm him, I have serious questions in your moral values. I mean, why take the risk?!?!
