So I finally saw this clip from last week and holy shit I didn’t know how defensive he was in a fucking senate confirmation hearing...”have you?” This guy knows he has a drinking problem and tries to downplay/normalize it. He comes from privilege and will never admit to any fault. He could simply gain the sympathy card and say, “yes I used to have a drinking problem but I learned from my mistakes in order to make myself a better person”.
