The burger had a really immersive quality to it and it's going to take some time to sink in, but the album was delicious and well-seasoned. I can't decide.

man I am in love with how 2,459 Miles goes into Wendy & Betsy. That opening guitar on Wendy is absolutely perfect and sets the stage for the song so well

 

I'm about to hit double digit listens, and I am ready to overreact prematurely! This album couldn't be more perfect.

 

i listened for the first time while answering emails this morning, which i'm sure is the worst way to listen to this for the first time.

Especially because I accidentally sent an email to a client that randomly said "HAVE I MADE MYSELF AND MYSELF CLEAR?!"

 

So happy for this band. Everything works on this album.

 

Man, at points in time it sounds like Aaron is ready to be done, but then when he talks about working with Will and how much he loves the record it seems like he could do it forever.

This is the vibe I've gotten from him since 06 lol. Talking after Brother, Sister came out he mentioned they were under contract with T&N for one more album and then he was thinking about being a teacher. And here we are

 

Ugh i didn’t know this was a thing, this is what i wanted to order but it’s not an option on the band site. I might cancel my EP vinyl and do this bundle instead so i can get both for lower shipping costs

 

That Brooklyn Vegan interview was great.

 

He just seems to be much more vocal than other artists about keeping the band going as long as its financially viable. He mentioned in the podcast someone linked earlier that he might've quit the band, but his brother was married with 3 kids and a mortgage, so he had to keep it going so his brother could make money to support his family. I know he has his own family to take care of now (podcast was from 2014 I think), so those feeling have to be even stronger.

He seems to balance it so well with artistic integrity though.

I'm really curious how you've come to this interpretation? That's not what I get from it at all.
