I want to see Finn give a lecture to stormtroopers about why mass murder is bad.

Im only half way through Lost Stars (AMAZING by the way) but Thane going through his arc and seeing what the Empire was actually doing opposed to what he was told in the academy is so good.

It really is great, right? It was the book I was least excited for during that initial batch but it’s probably the best and my favorite.

It hasnt topped Bloodline yet, but I could see it getting there by the end. I wasnt really looking foward to a Star Wars romantic drama, but I bought in so quickly, I love these two and cant wait to see what happens, especially knowing how it ties in to a certain Star Destroyer on Jakku. Claudia is a genius

Yea, by initial batch I meant the books that came out between A New Dawn and the release of TFA.

Not to be annoying lol but didn't most people strongly dislike that Stranger Things episode? I know I did

Ok yeah, for some reason I remember reading really positive reviews when season 2 came out, but looking now, it seems to have received a lukewarm response.

It was an alright episode to me. The point of it made sense, but it didn’t feel natural, it felt very shoehorned in to me, which made me enjoy it a little less

I think it’s good for the time being. One person alone does not make the films good or bad.

Im sure the toxic fans that want her gone will be up in arms and make a big stink when Resistence is out, but I have faith that next year with Celebration theyll show footage/trailers for episode 9, Clone Wars, and the live action show and the narrative will change big time.

Well get dates for the shows and maybe Rian and Benioff and Weis’ series. More excitement. Then December will come around and I have faith in JJ will give us an awesome movie. Then the live action series will expound on that. Then Clone Wars will give those fans an awesome and fan-pleasing conclusion. Then those same toxic fans will forget she exists and will get none of the credit for any of it lol

I’m excited for the future and I’m glad she’s leading it.

Yes, I’m sure they were having a hard time finding someone to replace one of the most successful film producers of all time. I’m sure she’s so greatful that they “let” her stay...

Honestly you could argue she is the GOAT producer.

Her first film as producer was Raiders Of The Last Ark. Anyone who has that has a first job is qualified for GOAT. The only film she has produced that I totally despise is the adaptation to The Last Airbender and that’s 100% M. Night Shyamalan’s doing.

Your post implied the only reason she got this is because they theoretically couldn’t find a replacement. Where it’s probably because she wanted to and has the talent and experience to do so.

Maybe that’s not what you meant, but that’s how I and seemingly others read it.

Again, this implies why she stayed. Maybe it wasn’t your intent. But it’s there.

That film is an abomination on every level. I always forget it exists.

As does everyone involved in its creation except for Shymalan lol

I’m diving headfirst into the Netflix adaptation, though.

Marvel’s Poe Dameron issue 31 gave a slight spoiler as to how we’ll see him in episode 9. I would have hyperlinked it but the headline has the spoiler in it.

I’d rather a different story with new characters in the same universe. I get why since it’s going to be more profitable this way, but I feel like it’s just a hard adaptation to do especially with trying to recreate those characters and their chemistry.
