I thought the EP would ship in Oct and the record wasn't shipping till Nov? What would be shipping now?

 

i think i like the "tortoises" -> "2459 miles" -> "wendy & betsy" sequence a little more than the author of that review, or at least think its pleasures are pretty immediate and apparent. "2459 miles" is in many ways the EP briefly rearing its head on the LP and feels like the center of the project to me. and "wendy" is a fuckin scorcher

I also think of 2459 as the center, it reminds me a lot of how Dorothy functions on Pale Horses

I'm kind of wishing I'd pre-ordered the CD from the mwY store, instead of Amazon, as it sounds like there's a decent chance they arrive early. Especially because of how stacked next Friday's release list is.

 

I'd love to see scans of the booklets and packaging for the CD's once they arrived. I only ordered the deluxe vinyl thing, so I won't get anything for 3 more months...

Kind of surprised RFC didn't release it for $5 on Bandcamp since all their proceeds are going to voting rights today.

 

I mean, that would be nice, but they are a business and releasing one of their most highly anticipated albums for charity is probably a bad idea. lol
