I don’t think people are gonna be into a coach who plays his guys 40 minutes each night

 

Idk, Mark Jackson is still constantly on teams lists and he did way worse shit than thibs did. At the very least he'll have a chance to sell himself in front of a gm and owner. There will be a shine when he makes the warriors defense or whoever look amazing and people will forget.

 

He probably could get a good assistant head coach/defensive guru job though. I don’t understand how these Wolves teams are bad defensively

 

The thing about the thibs bulls is that they built a culture over time, with the wolves he just kind of got stuck in there with young dudes who didn't know shit about winning and had to push the team 180. That'll probably be part of what he sells to the next team too.

 

I feel like the league has adjusted to the style of defense Thibs pioneered but he has not.
