I really wish My Friend Peter would've been on the tour setlists

 

Also worth noting Derek didn’t play with them yesterday again, I would imagine he won’t be on the tour next month either

 

They were asked in an interview about him, all they said is they are hopeful about about his return. They really didn't explain anything.

 

Ugh I almost bought a copy of Remains on Discogs for $60 a few months ago and now the cheapest is $175 lol

 

I have been meaning to listen to this. How does it rank of a scale of Yamcha to Super Saiyan Blue Super Saiyan God?

New Thrice has taken over for me, but I know this will take over again in October along with the rest of the discography.

It’s October aka time to listen to Trio all the time aka not any different from the rest of the year

 

Gotta say I've listening to Party Adjacent for the first time since 2015 probably and wow ITTC? made me appreciate this a lot of more now!Or I just got older haha

 

A bit surprising they’ve not changed the setlist at all for the west coast run of dates.

Clearly with Derek still recovering they don’t want to change it up too much, but I’d have expected at least a couple of changes. It’s not like they have an elaborate stage show which dictates the setlist.

 

Has Derek been back with them live? I thought Jarrod (Thats his name right? Jarrod Alexander?) was still smackin' the snare.

 

Sorry, maybe I wasn’t clear. I meant with Derek still not performing, while recovering, and therefore meant that they probably don’t want to give Jarrod too many songs to learn.

Regardless, switching out 2-3 songs surely wouldn’t have been an issue given the month break between legs of the tour.

 

Yeah little surprised to see the exact same set. Unless Derek was like listen I killed it on these new songs and I deem Jarrod unworthy of playing them, I don't get it lol. Especially with blink getting cancelled

 

Not that I know any more than the average bear, but my guess would be that they didn't have time to rehearse additional songs (for whatever variety of reasons). Obviously, stage setup doesn't matter, but I'm sure it's safe to assume that schedules/living arrangements prevented them from switching anything up until the day before the tour started back up.

Setlist is still a solid collection of their best jams, and I'm very happy with it. Only wish "Krystalline" and "Stay" were in there -- but yo, it's still cool.

 

Them busting out My Friend Peter at Riot Fest but not the rest of the tour made me sad
