Album art is so brutally cheesy haha

 

Yeah, not a fan of the album artwork either or how the album is still four months away. Regardless, it's new Sum 41 and I'm always going to be down for that.

That site has leaked info on upcoming Hopeless records before so I think it's legit

 

Makes it seem like they're going full Metallica or something. I wouldn't mind if every song on the new album sounds like "The Bitter End"

They have never had great artwork so I am not worried.

 

Half Hour of Power had cool artwork but aside from that it's been pretty ehh ever since

I hate that drummer with a passion for some reason. Cymbals sound awful, drumming style, etc.

I really miss Stevo32 too much.

Hopeless just posted on facebook a release date of October 7th.

 

Wonder if they had to step up the official announcement due to the leak, since the last updated they posted on their Pledge Music page said that pledgers would find out new information first.

 

I would imagine the official announcement was pushed up because of it, once its out its out. Also odd that the note in the facebook post is signed Derrick not Deryck

 

Seems to be the likely scenario. Haha yeah and that was odd about the signature.

 

That Russian website also said "Fake My Own Death" is the first single and will be out by the end of June.

 

That would make sense with them playing warped Tour all summer. Excited for this one those song titles gave me the same feeling when I read them as the ones for Chuck did.

Well with just ten songs, here's to hoping it's going to be "all killer, no filler," am I right?? Anyone?

 

I love Stevo and it will be nearly impossible to replace him, but Zummo is alright from what I can tell.

 

Album art is godawful and some of the track titles are cringe-worthy (Death to Pop? Seriously?) but I'm always down for new Sum 41 music. One of my all time favorite bands when I was younger
