There’s been so many memes about Nick Young joining the Lakers I forgot he actually isn’t on the team

 

This Lakers team is going to be such a blast

Lakers will be a 2-4 seed in the West.

How are the kings that low?

 

Washington is definitely too high. There is a lot of opportunity for dysfunction there.

 

I think the Lakers are missing the playoffs for sure, the West is too good.

 

To me, Utah is better than OKC so I think GSW/HOU/UTA is a clear top 3 in the West

Beyond that it’ll be a crapshoot with a surprise team in the mix (maybe Dallas?)

 

Portland being given such low odds is a bit of a surprise. Having them below the Spurs, Wolves, and Pelicans when they were the 3 seed last year.

I’d probably take those odds.

 

I think Minnesota drops out of the playoffs this year and maybe Portland also. My guess is they will be replaced by Denver, Memphis, or The Lakers.

 

are the jazz that good? seems like they took people by surprise last year and will be on teams' radar this year.

 

Their defense is incredible when they have Gobert in the lineup. The assumption is that if he stays healthy and Mitchell continues to improve they should be a playoff lock.

I think the wolves and blazers are out, Lakers and nugs in

 

The fully healthy Jazz last year had a better record than any team in the league, I fully expect them to be a top four seed unless something bad happens.

 

I feel like the Mavs could actually be good, idk why

I think about this Jazz-Raptors game a lot when I see how highly touted the Jazz have become. Valanciunas was electric and carried the whole team on his back but Ricky Rubio was a surgical assassin and Donovan Mitchell was giving a RotY finalist preview. The Jazz looked so much better than their record and they kept on showing that until their record matched their talent. I'm a fan.

 

I know the finals streak is over but a Lebron team missing the playoffs?? What???
