Did y'all know that Weezer is thanked in the liner notes of Bad Hair Day because Buddy Holly was originally in the polka? All took it out because he couldn't find a way to properly situate it.

I think he had a brief downturn around the start of the 10s with Alpocalypse, which was a bit weak and generally not worth it after five years. But Mandatory Fun was pretty much perfect.

 

I've never thought Weird Al was that funny

 

That's why he's not called Funny Al

I actually do no hate that. So weird haha.

I think they’ve gotten a lot better at being the weird pop band they want to be. California Snow has grown on me a ton.

 

This is bad, right? But I said the same thing about "Thank God For Girls" and "Feels Like Summer," and I love those songs now. I don't even know with this band anymore. Life is emotionally overbearing most of the time so I think I'm just glad to still have this weird, silly band around

 

This band keeps finding new and weird ways to surprise me. This is pretty groovy though, I can get on board with this.

I’m confused at what I just watched and listened to. Though admittedly I felt the same about thank god for girls and back to the shack. For some reason I’m not as hopeful this album will be as good as either EWBAITE or the white album

 

Dave Sitek produced the track. Nice. Wonder how much more involvement he has on the album.

 

I have mixed reviews () right now. Gonna have to let it grow on me.

Also, relieved there isn't a Toronto date, because I likely would have had to skip out because it would have fell near the time I will be out of the country. Excited for everyone else, though, as I'm sure it'll be summer tour 2.0 again in terms of fire.

 

I don't think it would be Weezer if it was immediate all-round positive reviews.

 

Okay this is pretty catchy. The video is definitely the best part, but tbh I kinda like the song too.
