I don't know what it means but I'm excited.

I haven't listened to Emery in years.

 

Me either but I know the first song I'm playing on the drive home today.

 

Mostly because I have no idea who those people are, except for Hayley.

 

Gets more hate than it deserves, but still a long ways off from their best.

That's Zac Farro their old drummer who left with his brother or whatever. His bro Josh is still a dick but there are rumors he's playing drums on the
new record and joining the band again.

 

I can enjoy newer AFI for what it is, but yeah, it doesn't really come close to Black Sails/Hallows Eve/Art of Drowning for me.

One of the first things that jumps out to me when I listen to a new track is drums. So I always a bigger fan of the farro brother era of Paramore a good bit more than when they released S/T, his drum style while not entirely unique was well refined and he was always doing something of interest behind the kit on any given song.

I'm down with him returning.

 

Last AFI record was a total wet fart in my book.

 

I didn't really care when they left but I didn't enjoy the last Paramore record as much.

 

wish that AFI/Tegan and Sara side project had materialized
