If any of y'all are ever in LA at the right time do not miss Playhouse Masterpieces with Neil and Paul at UCB. Hardest I laugh each month.

 

I'm probably going to be in LA later this summer and really want to catch something at UCB. I was thinking maybe ASSSSCAT because I like a lot of people involved with it, but I don't really know the specifics of which shows are best.

 

New Bo Burnham special is good, maybe not as good as "what.", but his style and delivery is still impeccable.

 

Watched Make Happy randomly; have never even heard of Bo Burnham. That was brilliant. There are parts that would so much better than the others, but as a whole it was definitely something else.

 

I know there's a separate thread, but I want to encourage everyone to see Popstar before it is out of theaters. I thought it was absolutely hysterical but it did poorly unfortunately

 

Today's CBB might be the last episode where Benny Schwaz will get to talk about House of Pies. End of an era.

 

Watch "what." and all the rest of his stuff for that matter.

I think Make Happy solidified Bo's spot as my favorite working comedian right now. He's just so original/creative/different from just about every one else out there.

 

Excited to check those out. Doing an immediate rewatch of Make Happy and it's still as good on second viewing.

 

Also his Vines are pretty great too.

 

Anyone else experiencing the new CBB not showing up on the widow Howl App?

 

I'm an idiot and pretty much every piece of technology I own is super outdated, so this is probably a dumb question but if I sign up for Howl am I able to download podcasts and put them on my old iTouch or do I have to listen in the app?

 

Yeah Make Happy is the only special since What. that I've watched twice in a day.

 

Finally Cleveland got the CBB showcase it deserved today.

 

Laughed way too hard at the American Netflix bit on today's CBB

 

Between Prince in the Victor/Tiny episode and Muhammed Ali in today's episode, two major celebrities have died in the time between when their name was mentioned on an episode of CBB and and when the episode was released.

 

The CBB curse!

 

Last two CBBs have been so joyous and fun.

Kulap and PFT talking about Hulk Hogan's Pastamania on SPONTANEANATION this week is amazing, as is PFT's Hulk impression

 

I listened to the Andy Samberg CBB last night and sadly Popstar did not make $100m opening night.

I've fallen way behind on Spont. Need to catch back up now that I'm about finished with the CBB tour.

This is pretty interesting to me, I was actually thinking while I was watching it that a newcomer who hadn't seen Bo's previous stuff would probably not get much enjoyment out of it because I feel like it needs a lot of context but really glad to be proven wrong
