Really hope I win this guitar hahah. Also have like 12 friends and co-workers that I've collaborated with that have entered for me and will give it to me if they win.

 

My local alternative station gives away a signed guitar each month.

The drawing for the signed guitar at my local radio station is Tuesday. Fingers crossed haha

 

Not that I didn't like Sorry, but this album is so much better in every single way. Love the 90's influences mixed with modern electronic touches. If she goes in a heavier direction on her future releases, I could even imagine her do something similar to Chelsea Wolfe, as she is so versatile both as a singer and songwriter. One of the most exciting newer artists right now, and I hadn't felt that way since her second EP.

 

It's a bummer she doesn't have more fans on here, or at least more people willing to check her out.

 

Welp, no luck with the signed guitar it looks like :/. So much for having 23 entries amongst friends and family :/. Hahah oh well at least I've met her and have a few signed items already. Chalk it up to "first world problem". Just hope whoever did win it cherishes as much as I would have hahaha

 

Scratch that! I was told that the drawing was going to be yesterday so when I didn't hear by the end of the night I just assumed someone else won hahaha. Got the call this afternoon! They legit drew my own name haha. I didn't even need all the help from friends and family. Can't believe I actually won it myself lol

Gotta find a place to put it though. Gonna need to buy a stand or a glass case or something.

Well I've already met her and everything, but winning a guitar signed by her is pretty fucking cool. It's a bit nicer than the dollar bill that she signed for me when I met her in person since it was all I had on me, but that is still special to me for it having been signed in person haha. The signed guitar is probably the most valuable out of the handful of signed items I have from her though. Not that I ever plan on parting with any of it haha.

Seriously haha it's crazy that even with the 21 other entries from friends and family in their own names, the handful of slips at the box where you could enter in person at a local music store, and whoever else may have entered online, that one of my two own entries won. Either I didn't need all the help, or it mixed up the pot just enough for me to win.

Tour starts tomorrow. Bummed it's not coming to Western New York Unfortunately won't be heading down to NYC for her show next month like back in June

Those Texas shows have been rescheduled to 10/28, 10/29, and 10/30.

 

Sounds like Meg's emergency surgery was due to Endometriosis, an often painful disorder in which tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows outside of it, sometimes on the ovaries and fallopian tubes. Yikes.
