Ive lost two raids with 5 people. then beat them when we went up to 8. Breezed the third with 15 people.

 

I thought it seemed warm in here...

 

just did Mewtwo with 8 and we had more than a third of the timer left

 

Tried with six and lost at about 10%

 

Chikorita is gonna be such a chill community day that i’m hoping we get our three shinies in like an hour and a half and just raid after, will have a group of 4 so we will only need to find a few stragglers

 

I was mad that I didn't see Grass types yesterday for the Celebi quest, but then I realized that I'm gonna be catching Chikoritas all afternoon tomorrow. So yeah, I'll get Celebi tomorrow!

 

Is there a three shiny limited or something?

 

Just beat Mewtwo with a group of 12. I’m not a part of any raid groups because there isn’t a discord or Facebook for my area. Just happened so see 7 cars pulled into an area where there are usually no cars this time of day and discovered it was a Mewtwo raid.

Had no trouble beating him, but due to the idiotic raid system, I missed out on catching him.

That will probably be one of my last shots at him since there is virtually no organization for Pokemon Go around here.

 

probably just so you can get one of each evolution. I also want at least 3

 

are you sure there’s no discord? 12 people sounds like too much to not be coordinated, did you ask them?

 

Took ours down with 7. Honestly probably 6 because I literally just had it on in my pocket and didn’t really contribute

 

3/3 today on Mewtwo, getting much better at catching them. It’s nice knowing there’s more coming, whereas when it was an EX raid being so nervous that I wasn’t gonna catch it that I was hestitant to throw the ball in case he animated at that moment.

 

There’s one for my county, but no activity in the discord that covers south county raids or events. I’ve searched a long time and it’s pretty much a lost cause. There used to be a Facebook group from when Pokémon go first came out, but it’s been a ghost town for over a year in there.

I’ll keep looking out and seeing if anyone actually gets active in the south county raids thread.

 

There could be a GroupMe or another app they all use. That’s what the people in my town use, and I found out about it through a month old post on a nearby city’s Pogo page by chance.

Yeah I would try reaching out to someone you see playing in your area and ask them if they’re involved in any type of local community raid group. It might be tricky but it does sound like the people you raided with have some type of coordination happening.

 

I’ve hatched ~ 12 eggs in the past two days. Still no Kangaskhan, but I have two new Alola Vulpix so I guess I’m happy?

 

We were able to get Mewtwo with a strong 6 players.
Still no Kang though.

 

So there's a glitch Pokemon floating around which apparently spawned in huge numbers in the half hour after the APAC community day. Data suggests it is meant to be Kecleon, but if caught it transforms into Ditto and it looks like a cog on top of a Ditto model, with no CP or species name visible.

My theory is Niantic accidentally pushed some test data for Kecleon to the main server, but it should be interesting either way.

 

They say that data shows it as being entry #891 in the Pokedex, so they say it could be the new Pokemon you are supposed to get when linking Pokemon Go to Let's Go Eevee/Pikachu. It would be a Gen 8 Pokemon. If so, it is a really unimaginative Pokemon.

 

Just caught a couple, they're everywhere. Both turned into dittos. My excitement plummeted so hard lol.

 

Somehow I just hatched one of all four regionals in a row...with one Meowth in between. Can’t believe I’m done with Gen 1 (until Let’s Go comes out).
