Just stumbled upon this. shes so adorable. I lol'd when she mentioned the Ewoks roaming the Earth. When are we starting the campaign for Brooklyn to be the star of Rian Johnsons trilogy?

I really don't think it was "too much too fast", It really has not felt overly saturated, a movie a year is LESS than we get with Marvel Universe and even that doesn't feel like too much. I just think they made a movie nooobody asked for (Solo) and when the production problems went public and the people of the internet started chiming in, it doomed whatever success the movie could have really had, as peoples minds were already made up before it even came out. I personally really enjoyed Solo for what it was, and I really hope they don't start going 2-3 years between any SW release, there have not been any SW movies released by Disney yet that have made me think "ook, maybe pump the breaks on these."

 

I say extend the production cycles. Three years per trilogy movie. Still get that event movie to look forward to every December. Enough breathing room so they aren’t rushing.

I did not like Solo. It wasn't awful but was dull enough to me that I'll never waste time on it again. I won't belabor that point, though, especially w/ some of the comic book films I like, lol; people can like whatever they want.

A Star Wars film a year is fine if they're done right. That's a vague, relative idea that isn't even completely the same thing as "good." Just gotta make each one feel like something people don't wanna miss. Star Wars is big enough to facilitate that.

 

They had a Mos Eisley Cantina movie in production, which sounds kinda terrible, and Solo is something that would fit way more with the streaming service. I’m glad Disney pumped the brakes. This isn’t a comic book universe, I don’t even need one movie a year tbh and soon we will have that streaming service to look forward to as well.
I wonder if we will see anything before the new year for 9. Mary Poppins is coming out— that movie is going to be huge, would be nice to have a little teaser then. But I doubt it ha.

 

We’ll definitely get the title poster this November.

 

Idk. We didn’t get the title of TLJ until mid January of 17. Then again Rogue One came out the month before so maybe they didn’t want to step on the toes of that.

I change my mind. I could definitely see that since we don’t have anything coming out in December.
